2018 Duke University 7th Grade Talent Search Program

Students participating in the 2018 Duke University 7th Grade Talent Search Program were: Elizabeth M., Henry H., and Austin T.  Elizabeth, Henry and Austin all qualified for state recognition!  Henry also qualified for Grand recognition!  Congratulations to these amazing 7th Graders, Holy Spirit was well represented!!

Holy Spirit's 18th Annual Spring Concert!!

On Tuesday afternoon and evening, the Middle School Band, Concert Choir, Beginning Band, 4th Grade Recorders, Drum Line Ensemble and Barbershop Quartet shared their musical abilities with the community.  Led by Mrs. Marzen, this last concert of the year was just what one would expect........Outstanding!!!

Holy Spirit Students Excel!! We are so PROUD!!

The Serra Club of Kansas City in Kansas chose our own Sydney N. as the Girls FIRST PLACE winner in this year's Sixth Grade Essay Contest!!  The essay was about vocations to the priesthood and religious life; "Why Priests, Sisters, Deacons, and Brothers are Necessary for the Mission of the Church".  Congratulations Sydney!!

Henry H. competed in the Kansas State Geography Bee, held in Abilene at the Dwight D. Eisenhower Presidential Library.  Only 100 students from all over the state qualify to compete at the state level.  Congratulation Henry!!

Modern Woodmen Speech Contest for 2018

All 7th and 8th grade students participated in the first round of the speech competition.  The field was narrowed to this group of the top 15 finalists!!

Congratulations to our top three winners from the 15 finalists, who were chosen by judges from outside the school.  Well done ladies, Nora (1st), Elizabeth (2nd), and Kasey (3rd)!!
