Academics

The mission of Holy Spirit is to develop independent, life-long learners who can and will live for Christ.

Testing & Results

Students in grades 3-8 have consistently earned "Standards of Excellence" in Math and ELA on the Kansas Assessments.  We are one of the top Catholic schools in the area praised for nurturing students who are not only ready for high school, but whose graduates consistently make high school honor rolls.

Curriculum

Holy Spirit Catholic School follows the curriculum standards set forth by the Archdiocese of Kansas City in Kansas which is aligned with Kansas State Department of Education Standards and incorporates the teachings of the Catholic Church.  Each school within the Archdiocese makes locally informed decisions as to the most appropriate way to meet these standards for their community.

Curriculum guides may be accessed through the website for the Archdiocesan School Offices at www.archkckcs.org under Curriculum.

Holy Spirit teaches religion as part of our regularly scheduled curriculum.  Religious instruction has the same rigor, seriousness and depth as all other curriculum disciplines.

Please look at each grade level page to learn more about what your child will learn in their education at Holy Spirit.
